Level 2 Teaching Assistant providing 1:1 SEND Support

(Fixed Term Contract - September 2024)

Pay Grade 3


The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated practitioner (minimum Level 2) to work within our school to provide targeted 1:1 support for children with SEND.


The role will include:

• Working with staff & SENCO to establish appropriate learning support.

• Planning and implementing agreed teaching activities.

• Monitoring and evaluating pupils’ responses to learning activities through observational assessments and completing records of achievement/progress against pre-determined learning objectives.

• Providing objective and accurate regular feedback on pupils’ achievement, progress, problems, etc.


Please note that as this position is subject to SEND additional funding, the post will be a fixed term position and reviewed on a regular basis.


Applicants must hold a Level 2 teaching assistant qualification.
